POOL LINERS
Your pool not only has to look great, it must feel good too. ABGAL vinyl pool liners require minimum effort, are available in a range of colours and patterns and provide outstanding performance year after year. Special ultra-violet inhibitors protect the liner from the effects of continued exposure to Australias' harsh sun rays. This ensures you receive a longer life from your liner.
ABGAL liners are specifically designed from premium quality vinyl and are "wedge-welded" to alleviate the unsightly flaps of vinyl where algae can grow. The vinyl is treated to resist the growth of algae ensuring your pool stays cleaner, longer.
Liners come in a choice of either solid colour or print patterns, all delivering the ultimate pool interior.

Improving the appearance of seams
Ugly seams have long been a major deal-breaker for vinyl linings, but manufacturers, recognising this flaw, have spent time reducing both the number of seams required, and the visual impact of individual seams.
The fruit of their efforts has emerged as a number of different methods of reducing the impact of seams in pool liners:
- Wedge Welding - rather than welding the butted edges of the lining together, the ends of the vinyl liner are now tapered to allow much of the weld to be hidden. This not only improves the aesthetics of the seam, but also allows for a greater surface area on the weld, increasing the strength.
- "Smart Seam Technology" - A technology which allows for a weld of approximately half the thickness of traditional vinyl welding, but retains the same strength.
- Suitable Backing Colours - most vinyl pool lining is now manufactured with a backing colour close to the colour of the printed surface. This means that any visible welding will blend in better with the normal surface of the lining.
- Thoughtful Placement - To further reduce the visual impact of pool liner seams, the seams are strategically placed so as to be out of sight from the most common viewpoints. Normally this means putting seams on the side of the pool closest to the house or the main deck area, so that onlookers see only the opposite side, which is kept free of seams.
